This is the Kelly suspension support system attachment kit. The kit is designed for the rigid type speculums I.E Conrad, Meister, Jerry’s ECT. This kit allows you to suspend straight off the speculum without the need for a dental halter. The support system helps prevent hyperextension at the poll when working on sedated horses. It gives added support to the head by supporting around the mandible area as well as the front of the head through the bite plates. This also helps keep the condyle (TMJ) engaged through the procedure. The nose band has a suspension ring sewn into the center to keep the head level making it easier to read symmetry. The end result is better posture for the horse leading to less chances of post procedure issues. (A horses head should alway be lower than wither height during procedures)
